Lip-syncing is usually frowned upon in the music industry, but this heart-warming clip might just be the exception to the rule.
Award-winning popstar Katy Perry appears to have some chart competition from these lion-hearted kids from a children’s hospital in Lebanon, New Hampshire.
The young patients from the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock (CHaD) have released their own version of Ms Perry’s new single Roar.
Patients, parents, doctors and administrators feature in the heart-warming clip, recorded as a thank you to everyone who supported the CHaD HERO charity half marathon, raising more than $650,000 (£400,000) for the hospital.
‘All of our CHaD Kids have a roar,’ child life specialist, Holly Gaspar told Londonderry Patch.
‘Sometimes we hear it, sometimes we see it, and sometimes we feel it. They are strong, they are brave, they are all fighters.’
The clip has received an overwhelming response online, racking up more than 300,000 hits.
